The Missouri River can truly become the heart of our
communities:

it can be a haven for family recreation as well as
for wildlife.

of our downtown areas.
- With prudent acquisition of riverside parkland and
the addition of hiking and biking trails, it can become
a greenway with recreational linkages to existing
attractions and to other trails throughout the metropolitan
area.
- With better river access and the development of
new educational resources, it can lead our children
and grandchildren towards better understanding and
care of our natural world.
